  • Exit right onto Sterling Highway and travel approximately 9 miles to the town of Cooper Landing

Driving Direction from Seward to Cooper Landing

  • Leaving Seward, travel north on Seward Highway
  • Travel north for approximately 39 miles to intersection.
  • Turn left onto Sterling Highway towards Soldotna/Homer
  • Travel approximately 9 miles on Sterling Highway to the town of Cooper Landing
  • Meet guide at discussed meeting point in Cooper Landing (see alternative meeting spots for additional directions)

Driving Direction from Soldotna to Cooper Landing

  • Go east on Sterling Highway
  • Travel west for approximately 40 miles to the town of Cooper Landing

If you leave a vehicle at a boat launch or pick-up area, you are responsible for paying the parking fees for your vehicle.  Fees range from $5-10 and need to be paid in cash to Alaska State Parks at the time you leave your vehicle.
